3 Schritte für spielend leicht stilvolle Outfits (Sommeredition)

Einer meiner Lieblings-Hashtags auf Instagram ist #effortlesschic. Er drückt für mich genau aus, wie Mode sein sollte: einfach, bequem, spielend leicht – gleichzeitig schick, stilvoll, sodass ich mich darin wohlfühle. Besonders im Sommer wünschen wir uns doch Looks, über die wir nicht groß nachdenken müssen, oder? Wenn ich morgens vor dem Schrank stehe und nicht genau weiß, was ich tragen soll, helfen mir diese 3 Steps:
Tonal Dressing
Seit vergangenem Jahr ein großer Trend, der nicht nur easy umzusetzen ist, sondern auch große Wirkung entfaltet: Mit Kleidungsstücken in der gleichen oder einer verwandten Farbpalette wirkt dein Style immer so, als ob du dir viele Gedanken gemacht hast, was du tragen möchtest. Musst du aber tatsächlich gar nicht! Schwarz auf schwarz erfordert kein großes Nachdenken, weiß zu beige, creme und weiteren neutralen Tönen funktioniert ebenfalls immer. Daher lohnt es sich, farblich zusammen passende Teile im Schrank zu haben, umso einfacher hast du es bei der Outfit-Wahl. Noch simpler ist dein Lieblings-Sommerkleid – wo kein Kombinieren, da kein Überlegen!
Keep them simple
Wenn „mühelos schick“ heißt, dass ich ein Outfit trage, in dem ich mich von Kopf bis Fuß wohl fühle, dann fängt das bei den Schuhen an. Niemand möchte Schuhwerk tragen, das drückt oder in dem du maximal 200 Meter zurücklegen kannst. Immer nur weiße Sneaker oder schwarze Loafer sind ebenfalls langweilig (können richtig kombiniert aber klasse aussehen). Gerade für cleane, zurückhaltende Looks eignen sich Schuhe hervorragend, um Akzente zu setzen. Die Faust-, nein, Fersenregel lautet also: bequem, simpel, mit einem Stildetail. Ich kombiniere hier zum Beispiel zweifarbige Espadrilles, die mit ihrer schwarzen Spitze auf Chanel verweisen, zum Look in weiß und creme.
Irgendwas fehlt noch
Genau, Accessoires! Zum Ton-in-Ton-Outfit mit Wohlfühl-Schuhen trage ich gerne noch ein bis zwei Hingucker, meistens eine Handtasche, die den Ton angibt. Es kann aber auch Haarschmuck, eine Jacke oder ein Statement-Schmuckstück sein. Jedenfalls ein Detail, das auffällt und durch das der Look weniger “basic” wird. Gleichzeitig kreieren schlichte Accessoires wie feiner Schmuck oder eine klassisch-elegante Sonnenbrille eine Art Grundrauschen im Outfit und tragen ebenfalls dazu bei, deinen Style auf die nächste Stufe zu heben.

3 easy steps to dressing effortlessly chic (summer edition)
One of my favorite hashtags on Instagram is #effortlesschic as I feel it embodies what fashion should be like: easy, comfortable, light and playful – at the same time, chic, stylish, and making me feel myself. Especially in summer we all crave looks we don’t have to think about much, right? When I’m standing in front of my wardrobe in the morning and don’t know what to wear, these 3 tips give me new ideas:

Tonal Dressing
A big fashion trend since last year, easy to do but super effective at the same time: Dressing in pieces from the same or a very similar color palette will give the impression that you made an effort putting together your outfit when in reality, you actually don’t have to. Black on black will always work, as well as pairing white with beige, cream, or other neutral tones. That’s why I’m a huge advocat for having pieces in similar colors in your wardrobe to make your style choices for every day so much easier. Going for your favorite summer dress requires even less thinking as you’re dressed with one item and don’t need ideas for combining it!
Keep them simple
If “effortless chic” means wearing an outfit I feel comfortable and myself in, it has to start with footwear. Nobody wants to wear shoes that pinch your feet or you can only walk up to 200 meters in. Wearing white sneakers or black loafers all the time is boring, too – even though they’ll look great if paired with the right outfit. I like to utilize shoes to elevate clean, restrained looks. So the rule of thumb, no, of heel, reads as follows: comfortable, simple, featuring an eye-catching style detail. For example, with this white and cream outfit I’m wearing two-toned espadrilles, citing Chanel with their black tip.
Something’s missing
Of course, it’s accessories! To spice up a tonal outfit with laid-back shoes I like to add one to two sophisticated items, such as a handbag that sets the tone for my look, a headband, a jacket, or a statement piece of jewelry – in any case, a detail that catches the eye and makes your look less “basic”. But don’t forget about dainty jewelry or plain accessories like a classic pair of sunnies as they create a kind of background hum and contribute to pushing your style to the next level.
