Die neue Saison ist hier und mit ihr all die unverbrauchten Modetrends, die bald in unserem Kleiderschrank Einzug halten. Style-technisch habe ich so richtig Lust auf den Herbst, auf die kräftigen Farben, das weiche Licht und die kuscheligen Outfits, ohne dass es draußen schon allzu kalt ist. Herbst heißt für mich Layering, spannende Texturen und Materialien und eine frische, lebendige Farbpalette mit warmen Erd- und Naturtönen. Jedes Jahr bekommen wir mit dem Saisonanfang weitere Trend-Nuancen und frische Style-Ideen geschenkt. Die kommen direkt von den Catwalks. Für den Mode-Alltag breche ich die Ideen der Laufstege gerne herunter und mache mir Gedanken, wie ich sie so umsetzen kann, dass sie die Trendiness behalten und gleichzeitig praktisch und tragbar sind. Matchy-matchy macht blau
Die große Neutrals-Liebe greift schon seit geraumer Zeit um sich. Jetzt bekommt sie einen Begleiter an die Seite gestellt: Blau. Die Farbe der Ruhe und Harmonie kombinieren wir mit Layering-Looks aus Nude- und Beige-Tönen, egal ob als klassische Blue Denim, zarte blassblaue Tops oder himmelblaue Accessoires. An diesem Trend begeistert mich, dass ich mir keine neuen Stücke zulegen muss, sondern schlicht Kleidung aus meinem Schrank anders kombiniere. Easy zu stylen, hoher Trendfaktor und gut für Portemonnaie und Umwelt – diese Mode ist ein Triple-Win!
Kleine Details, große Wirkung
Schmuck- und Accessoires-Trends verfolge ich mit besonderem Augenmerk, denn sie bedeuten, dass ich nur in wenige, meist kleine Teile investieren muss, um einen angesagten Look zu kreieren. Schon länger auf unserem Style-Radar und jetzt gemeinsam stark: Creolen-Ohrringe und Gliederketten kommen im Herbst im Doppelpack daher und verwandeln jedes Outfit in einen Hingucker-Look.
Grandma-Chic goes Fashion
Vor Cardigans kann sich keine Fashionista zur Zeit retten. Ob als zarte “Soft Girl”-Variante in Pastelltönen und als geknotetes Oberteil getragen oder als grob gestrickte Jacke mit Taillengürtel als Stil-Statement, die Strickjacke ist der heißeste Kandidat auf das beliebteste Herbst-Piece.
Hauptsache knautschig
Noch ein Accessoire-Trend, der uns in den Herbst begleitet: Weiche, lässige Taschen und slouchy Stiefel sind gerade der Hype. Wir sehen immer noch die gesteppten Designs und Flechtoptik à la Bottega bei Accessoires, können also unsere bisherigen Lieblinge weiterhin tragen. Statt schlanker, kniehoher Boots setzt du diese Saison mit knautschigen Stiefeln, die ungefähr bis zur Hälfte der Wade reichen, ein Style-Statement. Besonders trendig wird es, wenn du dazu eine weite Hose in die Stiefel gesteckt trägst.
Set-ting the tone
Im Modeherbst 2020 kommt zusammen, was zusammengehört. Formelle Sets wie Hosenanzüge und Kostüme liegen im Trend. Für die Suits darf es eine richtige Knallfarbe wie Hot Pink oder Signalrot sein. Für Sets aus Blazer und Mini- oder Midirock gibt es auf den Runways Inspiration in Naturfarben und Mustern. Kombiniere sie für die kühlere Zeit mit einem edlen Kaschmir-Rollenkragenpulli.

The new season is here and we’re all in for it and it’s new fashion trends that will soon find their way into our wardrobes. In terms of style, I’m really in the mood for autumn, looking forward to the golden colors, the soft light and the cozy outfits and enjoying everything while it’s still not too cold outside. For me, autumn means layering, exciting textures and materials and a fresh, lively color palette featuring warm earthy and natural tones. Every year, the start of the new season provides us with more trends and fresh style ideas straight from the catwalks. For everyday fashion I like to break down the runways’ ideas and come up with outfits that are both trendy and fashionable and at the same time practical and wearable. Below you’ll find five pieces of 2020/2021 fall fashion inspiration that will definitely show your sense of style.
Matchy-matchy matches blue
Our great love for neutrals has been around for some time. Now it is given a companion: blue. Combine the color of calm and harmony with layering looks in nude and beige tones, whether as a classic blue denim, delicate pale blue tops or sky blue accessories. What I love about this trend is that I don't have to buy new pieces, but simply combine clothes from my closet differently. Easy to style, highly en vogue and good for your wallet plus the environment – this trend is a triple win!
Small details, big impact
I pay particular attention to jewelry and accessories trends, because they mean that I only have to invest in a few, mostly small pieces to create a trendy look. Hoop earrings and chain necklaces have been on our style radar for some time now and they’re joining forces this autumn to turn every outfit into an eye-catching look. Wear them together to elevate any basic outfit!
Grandma chic goes fashion
No fashionista can get away from the cardigan trend at the moment. Whether you wear them in a delicate “soft girl” style with pastel tones and knotted across your chest or whether you choose a chunky knit cardigan with a waist belt as a style statement, right now the cardigan is a hot favorite for the most popular autumn trend piece.
Slouchy, slouchier, the slouchiest
Another accessory trend that will accompany us during autumn: Soft, casual bags and slouchy boots are currently all the hype. We continue to see the quilted designs and plaited look à la Bottega for accessories, so let’s go on wearing our favorites we have already styled over spring and summer. Instead of slim knee-high boots, this season you’ll prove your sense of fashion with slouchy boots that reach up to approximately half the calf. Wear a pair of wide trousers tucked into your boots for extra style points!
Set-ting the tone
Autumn fashion 2020 brings together what belongs together. Formal sets such as pant suits and costumes are super trendy. Opt for vibrant colors like hot pink or signal red for your power suit. For skirt suits featuring a blazer and mini or midi skirt the runway offers color inspiration in natural shades and patterns. Combine them with a classy cashmere turtleneck sweater when the temperatures begin to drop.
