Last-minute Weihnachtsgeschenke gesucht? Vielleicht sind meine Dezember-Beauty-Favoriten noch eine kleine Inspiration für euch, wenn ihr Kleinigkeiten für Verwandte und Freunde sucht, die Beauty- oder Make-up-Liebhaber sind. Mit dabei sind reinigende Produkte für’s Gesicht, mehr Lippenpflege (immer ein Thema im Winter) und meine neue Lieblingsmascara.
La Mer The Lip Balm
Der Ferrari unter den Lippenpflege-Produkten ist bestimmt der La Mer Lippenbalsam. Er ist alles andere als günstig, dafür bekommt ihr ein wahnsinnig ergiebiges Produkt, das die Lippen wunderbar weich macht und verhältnismäßig lange anhält – das hängt natürlich immer davon ab, ob man zwischendurch trinkt, isst und so weiter, ihr kennt es. Was ich aber am meisten liebe, ist der Geruch: frisch, natürlich, anders als alle Produkte, die ich bisher ausprobiert habe. Ein zusätzliches Sternchen gibt es noch für die schicke, minimalistische Verpackung.

Nivea MicellAir Skin Breathe Expert Mizellenwasser
Okay, ich bin super spät dran mit dem Mizellenwasser-Trend und habe erst die letzten Wochen das Nivea MicellAir Produkt für wasserfestes Make-up getestet. Im Gegensatz zu dem Make-up-Entferner, den ich normalerweise nutze, ist es super leicht in der Textur, eben mehr wie Wasser, und trotzdem effektiv. Meistens gebe ich es auf ein wiederverwendbares Pad aus Baumwolle und kann mein Make-up ohne Wischen und Reiben abnehmen. Ich kann mir gut vorstellen, komplett auf das Mizellenwasser umzusteigen; vor allem wegen der Packungsgröße: im Vergleich zu kleineren Fläschchen, in denen die meisten Make-up-Entferner daherkommen, spart sie Geld und gleichzeitig Plastikmüll.

NARS Climax Mascara
Von der NARS Climax Wimperntusche könnte ich euch lange vorschwärmen: Volumen und Länge nach nur einmal auftragen, Haltbarkeit und kein Verwischen, obwohl sie nicht wasserfest ist, kein Verkleben, eine Bürste, die die Wimpern mühelos trennt, und – ihr wisst, was kommt – die Verpackung ist einzigartig. Was mich vor allem erstaunt, ist der Wow-Effekt, ohne dass die Wimpern quasi erstarren und hart werden – wisst ihr, was ich meine? Mit der NARS Mascara fühlen sich meine Wimpern weich und wie ungetuscht an, sehen aber nicht so aus.

Royal Apothic Scrubbie Sugar Lip Scrub
Lippenpeelings sind so was wie meine neue Leidenschaft – nein ernsthaft, ich frage mich wirklich, warum ich sie noch nicht früher ausprobiert habe. Neben dem in Stiftform aus den letzten Beauty-Favoriten benutze ich gerade sehr gerne diesen Lip Scrub von Royal Apothic. Er peelt noch etwas intensiver, weshalb ich ihn gerne abends vor dem Schlafengehen auftrage. Gleichzeitig sind pflegende Wirkstoffe enthalten, die sich wie ein Lippenbalsam auf die Lippen legen und sie für den kommenden Morgen schön soft machen.

Paula’s Choice Perfect Cleansing Oil
Immer der erste Schritt in meiner Hautpflegeroutine ist das Reinigungsöl von Paula’s Choice. Als ölbasierter Cleanser dient es dazu, die Haut von Unreinheiten zu befreien. Ich verbinde das Auftragen gerne noch mit einer kleinen Gesichtsmassage und finde, das ist der ideale Moment, um morgens und abends kurz zu relaxen, bevor mein Tag startet bzw. zu Ende geht. Nach dem Abwaschen ist die Haut gereinigt, aber nicht spannend, sondern weich und angenehm.

La Mer The Lip Balm
This one might be the Ferrari in terms of lip care products. It is not cheap at all, but you can be sure to get a products which lasts forever, which makes your lips beautifully soft and which will stay on your lips quite some time – depending on if you’re eating or drinking, you know what I mean. What I love most about it is the smell: it’s fresh, natural, and different from anything I’ve used before. And I’ll give it an extra star for the chic, minimalistic packaging.

Nivea MicellAir Skin Breathe Expert Mizellenwasser
Okay, I’m super late to the micellar water bandwagon, but I have been testing the Nivea MicellAir product for waterproof makeup during the last weeks. Contrary to the makeup removers I normally use it has a super lightweight texture, just more like water, and it’s effective nonetheless. Most times, I use the micellar water on a reusable cotton pad and don’t have to wipe and rub to get my makeup off. I’m currently thinking about switching my usual make up remover for the Nivea micellar water because not only because the effect is the same if not better, but the bigger bottle will also save me money and plastic waste.

NARS Climax Mascara
I could go on about the NARS Climax mascara for ages: volume and length after one applying only one layer, long lasting and smudge proof even though it’s not waterproof, no lashes sticking together, a brush that effortlessly separates the single hairs, and – you know what will come next – the packaging is outstanding. What amazes me the most is that you’ll get this wow effect without your lashes becoming all stiff and hard – do you know that feeling? With the NARS mascara, my lashes feel like I’m not wearing anything on them, but they will look amazing!

Royal Apothic Scrubbie Sugar Lip Scrub
Lip scrubs might be my new thing – seriously, I’ve been asking myself why I didn’t use them before. Apart from the one I talked about in last month’s beauty favorites that comes in a classic lipstick form, I’m loving this one from Royal Apothic. The scrub is slightly more intense, so I like to use it at night before going to sleep. At the same time, it contains nourishing ingredients that act like a lip balm and help make your lips super soft for the upcoming morning.

Paula’s Choice Perfect Cleansing Oil
Always the first step in my skincare routine: this cleansing oil by Paula’s Choice. Being an oil-based cleanser, it’s meant to free the pores and get rid of any impurities. I like to combine using the product with a little face massage to take a short moment to relax every morning and evening before starting or ending my day. After washing my face my skin feels cleansed, but not tight, but soft and relly comfortable.
