Neulich habe ich zwei komplett weiße Outfits auf Instagram gepostet (hier und hier könnt ihr sie sehen) und Kommentare von ein paar von euch bekommen, die den Look gerne mochten, aber selbst nicht danach gegriffen hätten. Weil ich komplett Weiß gerade sehr mag – besonders wegen meiner neuen Topshop Joni Jeans, die einfach so super passen –, habe ich heute ein paar Ideen für euch für einen winterlichen All-White-Look!
Kombiniert weiß mit etwas winterlicheren oder herbstlicheren Farben.
Ihr wollt ja nicht aussehen, als ob ihr auf dem Weg zu eurem nächsten Patienten seid. Dazu mixt einfach Weiß mit dunkleren Farben, obwohl ich Schwarz nicht empfehlen würde, da ihr dann einen sehr harten Kontrast haben. Trotzdem bleibt Schwarz-Weiß natürlich ein Klassiker. ;-) Stattdessen bieten sich hier Farben wie Beige, Braun, Mauve, Taupe und andere neutrale Töne an.
Macht es euch kuschelig.
Ich finde weiße Winteroutfits mit typischen Winterkleidungsstücken am schönsten, zum Beispiel mit dicken Strickpullis, Schals, Mützen, oder auch Mänteln.
Kreiert einen Materialmix.
Das gilt für alle “einfarbigen” Looks: Euer Outfit wird interessanter, wenn ihr verschiedene Stoffe wie Strick, Jeans, Satin (Satin-Midiröcke sind gerade sehr im Trend – ich habe euch einen unten verlinkt), Baumwolle oder leichtere Materialen, aus denen zum Beispiel Blusen sind, kombiniert.
Weiß ist nicht gleich Weiß.
Bitte, was? Ja genau: Noch ein Trick, um den "Arzt-Look" zu vermeiden ist es, verschiedene Weiß-Töne zu kombinieren, z. B. Reinweiß, Cremeweiß, Off-White, Weiß mit leichten Beige-Stich wie mein Pulli hier oder sogar ein sehr, sehr heller neutraler Ton wie in meinem Rock, bei dem man sich sogar streiten kann, ob es noch Weiß ist, oder? ;-)

When I recently posted two all-white looks on Instagram (see them here and here), I got some comments saying they loved the outfit, but wouldn’t have reached for it themselves. So because I’m loving all-white at the moment, especially because of my gorgeous white Topshop Joni jeans that fit like a dream, I wanted to share some ideas on how to rock a white look, preferably without looking like a nurse!
Pair white with more wintery or autumnal colors.
To prevent looking like you’re on your way to the next patient, combine white with darker colors, however, I recommend not to choose black as it is a very harsh contrast (even though black and white is a classic, of course). Opt for beige, brown, mauve, taupe, and other neutral tones to keep it chic and easy.
Make it snugly.
Go for typical winter materials and items like knits, scarves, hats, or even coats in white to create the perfect winter look.
Mix fabrics.
This goes for every monochromatic look: Create a more interesting outfit by combining different materials like knit, denim, satin (satin midi skirts are super on trend right now – I linked one down below), cotton, or softer fabrics in blouses and the like.
White doesn't equal white.
Sorry, what? Yes, you heard me right: Another hack to get away from looking like medical personel is to combine different shades of white. These can be pure white, cream white, off white, a beigy white like my sweater here, or even a really, really light shade as in my skirt that you could argue about if it still counts as white!
