Drunter und drüber: So setzt du den Wäschetrend für den Sommer in Szene

Allerspätestens seit dem Corona-bedingten Lockdown sind solche Teile in der Mode angekommen, die wir sonst nur zuhause tragen: Unterwäsche, Pyjamas, Jogginghosen. Das Drunter wird zum Drüber, die bequeme Lounge- und Sleepwear zum Fashion-Statement. Vielleicht war da sogar etwas Foreshadowing dabei, denn auf den Runways sahen wir für 2020 bereits Slip Dresses, Strumpfhalter, Satin-Tops und Bralettes. Persönlich liebe ich bequeme Mode und Trends, die wir schon im Schrank haben, auf der anderen Seite habe ich mich an den Lingerie-Trend nicht wirklich herangetraut. Doch wenn nicht jetzt im Sommer, wann dann? Zugegebenermaßen ist Wäsche zu stylen eine kleine Herausforderung, schließlich soll es nicht so aussehen, als ob wir gerade aufgestanden sind. Aber mit ein paar Stil-Tipps wird daraus dein neuer Sommer-Lieblingslook!
Die Basics: So trägst du den Lingerie-Trend
Die Hauptattraktion. Welches Kleidungsstück möchtest du in Szene setzen? Es sollte nicht irgendein Schlafanzug-Oberteil sein, sondern sorgfältig ausgewählt – achte auf Schnitte und Design, die es alltagstauglich machen. Details wie ein taillierter Cut, Spitze oder hochwertige Knöpfe lassen das Wäsche-Teil zum Modetrend werden.
Das Material macht die Musik. Schlabber-Pyjamas und Baumwoll-Nachthemden dürfen in der Schublade bleiben. Wähle stattdessen hochwertig wirkende Materialien wie Satin, Seide oder Spitze und dein Wäsche-Piece wird zum Blickfang. Persönlich bin ich Fan von Satin, denn er fühlt sich herrlich luxuriös an! Eine Auswahl an geschmackvollen Kleidungsstücken aus dem glänzenden Stoff, die nur für nachts viel zu schade sind, gibt es bei Hunkemöller.
Ein Teil pro Look. Ob Slip Dress, Trägertop oder Bralette, mit einem Wäsche-Teilchen pro Outfit setzt du einen Akzent und kannst den Rest des Looks darum herum aufbauen.
Die Balance halten. Angezogen und nackte Haut, Pyjama-Look und richtiges Outfit halten sich idealerweise die Waage. Kombiniere daher Pieces, die nach Unterwäsche aussehen, mit strukturierten Kleidungsstücken wie zum Beispiel Jeans, Pencil Skirts oder Blazern.

Business in Bed
Das klassische Pyjama-Oberteil aus Satin mit Kragen und Knopfleiste ist besonders cool als Blusenalternative zu Jeans und Heels. Knote es vor dem Bauch oder trage es im Half-Tuck (leicht aufgeknöpft und halb in die Hose gesteckt) für ein cooles Stil-Detail. Ich liebe Pyjama-Tops ebenfalls zu strukturierten Shorts in Kombination mit lässigen Sneakern.
Tausendsassa Trägertops
Das Camisole kommt im Wäschelook daher, ob in Satin, mit Spitze am Ausschnitt oder beides, und lässt sich hervorragend zum sommerlichen Büro-Look mit den angesagten kurzen Anzügen tragen. Ich mag es ansonsten zu Palazzo-Hosen oder in Kombi mit Midiröcken als wunderbar luftiges Sommer-Outfit.
Einsame Spitze
Bralettes oder Bustiers gehen Hand in Hand mit den im Trend liegenden transparenten Blusen, sei es aus feiner Seide, dünnem Leinen oder mit Plumetis-Effekt. Ob aus einer Farbfamilie oder in einer Kontrastnuance, ein Bralette darunter oder als Hingucker am Dekolleté setzt einen Stilakzent. Der Lingerie-Trend in einem Teil heißt Slip Dress. Halblange, auf Figur geschnittene Kleider mit Spaghettiträgern und aus unifarbenem Satin sind an sich schon ein Fashion Statement und funktionieren für tagsüber, aber auch perfekt als Party-Look. Im Alltag tragbar werden sie mit klobige Boots, Sneakern oder Plateausandalen, einem Taillengürtel und einem oversized Boyfriend-Blazer oder einer Lederjacke. Im Herbst kombinierst du den Gürtel einfach über dem Blazer und hast einen idealen Übergangs-Look.

Bed, bath and beyond: How to style the lingerie trend for summer

Since at least the corona pandemic and the inevitable lockdown, garments that we would normally only wear at home have made their way into fashion: underwear, pajamas, sweatpants. What was meant for underneath becomes an outfit, the comfortable lounge and sleepwear creates a fashion statement. Maybe designers even did foreshadow the situation because on the 2020 runways we had already seen slip dresses, suspenders, satin tops and bralettes. Personally, I love comfortable fashion and trends that we already have in our wardrobes, however, until now I was rather cautious to have a go at the lingerie trend. But if not now during summer, when? Admittedly, styling lingerie is a bit of a challenge, as it’s not supposed to look like we just got out of bed. Yet with a few style tips it has the potential to become your new favorite summer look!
The basics: how to wear the lingerie trend
The main attraction. Which piece of clothing do you want to put in the spotlight? It shouldn't be just any PJ top, but carefully selected – pay attention to cuts and design details that will make a lingerie piece suitable for everyday wear. Opt for a tailored cut, lace details, or high-quality buttons transform a loungewear garment into something fashionable.
What dreams are made of. Leave your sloppy jammies and cotton nightgowns in the drawer and choose high-quality materials such as satin, silk or lace instead. Personally, I'm a fan of satin because it feels so luxurious! One of a kind. Whether it's a slip dress, a top or a bralette, one underwear inspired piece per outfit will set the tone and allows you to build the rest of the look around it.
Keep the balance. Ideally you’ll balance out covering up and showing skin, as well as loungewear garments and “real”, wear-outside clothing. Combine pieces that look like underwear with structured clothing such as jeans, pencil skirts, or blazers.

Business in bed
The classic, button-down satin pajama top with a collar will look particularly cool paired with jeans and heels, replacing a formal white blouse. Knot it in front of your belly or wear it in a half-tuck to create a nonchalant style detail. I also love wearing PJ tops with structured shorts and casual sneakers!
The cherry on top
Camisole tops are a wardrobe staple and the lingerie look suits them very well, whether they’re made of satin, feature a lace detail at the neckline or both. In summer, combine an airy cami with an en vogue short suit for an elegant office look. I like it to style lingerie tops with palazzo pants or midi skirts as well to create a wonderfully breezy summer outfit.
Lovely lace
Bralettes or bustiers are the perfect companion for transparent blouses which are super on trend right now. I especially love the plumetis effect on blouses and and think it’s really chic to pair them with an eye-catching bralette! Opt for a monochromatic, simple look by choosing a bustier in the same color palette or elevate your outfit by layering a lace bralette in a contrasting shade under your shirt, maybe even letting it poke out at the neckline. The lingerie trend in one item of clothing? A slip dress! These mid-length, figure-hugging satin dresses with spaghetti straps in monochrome colors are a fashion statement by themselves and work perfectly for day-to-night looks. Wear them for everyday life with chunky boots, sneakers or platform sandals, a waist belt, and an oversized boyfriend blazer or a leather jacket. In autumn, simply close the belt over the blazer and you get a fashionable transitioning look.
