Neues Jahr, neue Beauty-Favoriten! Und neues Bildkonzept – naja, ich wollte mal etwas Neues ausprobieren und mag diesen Vintage-Look einiger Fotos ganz gerne. Was meint ihr?
Zurück zum Thema: Der Januar steht bei mir im Zeichen von Hautpflege und einer für mich neu entdeckten Marke, Kiehl‘s. Außerdem gibt es einen Haarpflege „Holy Grail“ und einen überraschenden Drogeriefund. Und alle meine momentanen Beauty-Favoriten sind perfekt für eine schnelle Morgenroutine!

Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Serum
Der perfekte Morgen beginnt mit der Vorbereitung am Abend davor. Ich bereite nicht nur mein Frühstück vor, sondern auch meine Haut. Das Midnight Recovery Serum riecht angenehm beruhigend nach Lavendel, spendet der Haut Feuchtigkeit und regeneriert sie über Nacht. Dabei ist es sehr reichhaltig – manchmal lasse ich dann meine Nachtcreme weg, denn auch nur mit dem Serum ist meine Haut super gepflegt.

Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cleanser
Aufstehen, Kaffeemaschine an, Gesicht waschen. So in etwa läuft ein typischer Morgen bei mir ab. Dazu gehört ein leichter Gesichtsreiniger, der nicht austrocknet. Für meine Mischhaut ist der “Ultra Facial Cleanser” in Gelform perfekt – ein echter Klassiker von Kiehl’s. Und mit einer erbsengroßen Menge, die für das gesamte Gesicht genügt, reicht die kleine Tube für viele Morgen!

System Professional Hydrate Shampoo
Auch Shampoo ist ein unverzichtbarer Bestandteil (fast) jeder Morgenroutine. Mein Liebling momentan ist das feuchtigkeitsspendende aus der “System Professional”-Reihe, mit der ihr euch eure Haarpflege ganz individuell zusammenstellen könnt: Einfach hier einige Fragen über eure Mähne beantworten, und ihr erhaltet Vorschläge für eine komplette Haarpflegereihe, die auf die Bedürfnisse eurer Haare abgestimmt sind. Aber zurück zum Shampoo, denn das begeistert mich mit feuchtigkeitsspendender Pflege, ohne die Haare zu beschweren. Wer wie ich mit fettigem Ansatz bei trockenen Spitzen zu kämpfen hat, wird es schätzen. Eine Flasche hält gut vor, da ihr auch hier nur eine kleine Menge pro Haarwäsche braucht.

Maybelline Dream Cushion Foundation
Lange Zeit habe ich nur flüssige Foundation verwendet, denn alles andere hatte mich nicht überzeugt. Zu wenig Farbabgabe, zu schlechte Haltbarkeit auf der Haut und keine gute Deckkraft – bei Cushion und Puder-Foundations war ich skeptisch. Als ich dann neulich bei meinen Eltern zu Besuch war und kein Make-up bei mir hatte, musste kurzerhand Ersatz her und ich bin ausgerechnet bei dm fündig geworden. Das Produkt von Maybelline hat mich zum einen überzeugt, weil man mithilfe des Kissens genau die richtige Menge auf die Haut bekommt und die Foundation außerdem spielend leicht damit verschmilzt. Zum anderen ist sie der perfekte Begleiter für unterwegs, um mal eben das Make-up aufzufrischen, denn ihr braucht weder Pinsel noch Beauty Blender – selbst der Spiegel ist immer dabei. Das ist natürlich super, wenn es morgens schnell gehen muss oder ihr vielleicht in der U-Bahn euren Look finalisiert. Ich bin ein großer Fan!

Kiehl’s Butterstick Lip Treatment Simply Rose
Der letzte Schliff, bevor ich aus dem Haus gehe, ist der Lippenstift. Der Butterstick von Kiehl’s pflegt, bietet einen Sonnenschutz und Farbe zur gleichen Zeit. Ich habe die Nuance “Simply Rose” – für mich ist das ein gelungener “Your lips but better”-Farbton. Durch die reichhaltige Textur bleibt die Pflege lange auf den Lippen und auch zwischendurch lässt sich die Farbe immer wieder einfach auffrischen, ohne für den Alltag zu knallig zu sein.

Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate
The perfect morning starts with prepping the night before. Not only do I prepare my breakfast, but also my skin. The Midnight Recovery Concentrate smells amazing of lavender which is soothing and will make falling asleep easier. In addition, it moisturizes the skin and you’ll wake up fresh and glowing in the morning. At the same time it is really rich, so sometimes I’ll skip putting on my night cream, because I feel I already treated my skin thoroughly.

Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cleanser
Get up, turn on the coffee machine, wash my face. That’s basically my typical morning. And for washing my face, I like to use a lightweight cleanser which doesn’t dry out my skin, but leaves it cleaned and moisturized at the same time. I find that the gel-based “Ultra Facial Cleanser”, which is a real classic from Kiehl’s, is perfect for my combination skin. As a pea-sized portion will be enough to cleanse your entire face (and neck), the little tube will go a long way!

Shampoo, too, is a vital part of nearly) every morning routine. My current favorite is the hydrating shampoo in the “System Professional” series, which allows you to create your own personal hair care routine based on your hair’s needs. Just answer a few questions about your mane here and get suggestions for hair care products suitable especially for you. But back to the shampoo: it gives my hair the hydration that it needs while being super lightweight and not leaving any residue. If you struggle with greasy roots and dry ends like me, you will appreciate it! Like the Kiehl’s cleanser, you won’t need loads of product, so one bottle of shampoo lasts a decent amount of time.

Maybelline Dream Cushion Foundation
I had only been using liquid foundations for a long time, because everything else just didn’t convince me. I thought that cushion or powder foundations neither gave enough coverage nor stayed on long enough. So when I didn’t have my foundation with me recently, I was looking for a replacement and was surprised to find it in a drug store. The Maybelline product convinced me as on the one hand it is super easy to apply thanks to the built-in cushion and on the other hand, it will melt into your skin. Moreover, it’s your perfect travel companion to freshen up your make-up, because you won’t need a brush or beauty blender – it even comes with a mirror. So that’s ideal if you don’t have much time in the morning or will complete your makeup on the train or subway.

Kiehl’s Butterstick Lip Treatment Simply Rose
The finishing touch before leaving the house for me is lips. I use Kiehl’s Butterstick to moisturize my lips, have a protection against the sunlight (it comes with SPF 25) and wear a little bit of color at the same time. “Simply Rose” is my shade and for me, it’s the perfect “Your lips, but better” kind of color. The butterstick is fairly rich, stays on for quite a long time, and I think the color is perfect for every day because it isn’t too “in your face”.
