Allerspätestens seit “Natürlich blond” hat Pink – oder Rosa – einen ganz besonderen Platz in unseren Kleiderschränken. Ich bin mir fast sicher, dass jede von uns in ihrem Leben ihre pinke Phase hatte oder auch immer noch hat. Zu der letzen Gruppe gehöre ich definitiv dazu: als Kind wollte ich Prinzessin sein und es konnte gar nicht genug glitzern und funkeln, als Teenager drehte ich mich um 180 Grad und lief mit grungigen Aufnähern und Buttons auf Karohemden und meistens komplett schwarzen Looks herum. Heute liebe ich Rosa mehr denn je, und das liegt daran, dass ich die Style-Formel für die Farbe gefunden habe, die mit meinem persönlichen Stil am besten harmoniert.
Egal ob du die Farbe gerade neu entdeckst oder sie schon immer zu deinem Repertoire gehörte und egal ob dein Ziel ein mädchenhafter, verspielter Style ist oder eher in Richtung mondäner Girlboss geht – hier sind meine 5 Kombinationstipps für Pink!
Bestimme den perfekten Farbton.
Pink ist nicht gleich Pink! Von knalligem Pink über Rosenholz- oder Lachstöne reicht die Pink-Palette bis zu zartem Rosé und pudrigen Nude-Nuancen. Welcher Farbton am besten zu dir passt, hängt von deinem Hautton, aber auch von den restlichen Farben in deinem Kleiderschrank ab. Probiere aus, wie Rosa dir am schönsten schmeichelt, indem du verschiedenfarbige Pieces an dein Gesicht hältst und beobachtest, wie dein Teint damit wirkt. Easy kombinierbar sollte Pink ebenfalls sein, daher überlege, welche Farbtöne du sonst trägst und welche Rosavariante damit am besten harmoniert.
Das perfekte Piece in Pink.
Überlege dir als zweiten Step, was der übergreifende Vibe deines Outfits ist. Romantisch-verspielt? Schick und sophisticated? Zurückhaltend-elegant? Sportlich-casual? Davon hängt ab, zu welchem Teil du in Pink greifen willst. Für einen mädchenhaften Look eignet sich ein voluminöser Rock oder eine Bluse mit verspielten Details wie Schleifen oder Rüschen, und das Ganze eher in einem Pastellton. Hast du vor, Pink ins Büro zu tragen, darf es vielmehr ein knalliger Blazer in Fuchsia sein. Behalte dabei im Hinterkopf, dass der Stil des Teils mit der Farbe zusammenspielt – zum Beispiel der romantische Rock, der in hellrosa zur Zartheit dieses Stils passt, oder der schicke Blazer mit maskulinem Schnitt, der deshalb in einer leuchtenden Farbe viel cooler wirkt.
Kenne deine übrige Farbpalette.
Das knallpinke Kostüm á la Elle Woods ist zur Ikone geworden, doch ich glaube im Alltag tragen die meisten von uns Pink in Kombination mit anderen Nuancen. Persönlich liebe ich die Zusammenstellung von Rosa mit neutralen Tönen wie weiß, beige, creme, cognac oder auch grau und schwarz. Je nach Gusto lässt sich Pink auch super als Color Blocking stylen, sei es in der Pastell- oder kräftigen Variante, zum Beispiel Zartrosé mit Babyblau oder kräftiges Flamingo-Pink mit Rot!
Finde passende Muster.
Prints werten jeden Look easy auf. Ähnlich wie beim Schnitt eines Kleidungsstücks bestimmt auch das Muster den Stil. Gerade in Pink mag ich zum Beispiel klassische Muster wie Karo oder Streifen sehr gerne, weil sie Eleganz mit Feminität verbinden. Rosa Blumen oder Punkte hingegen wirken verspielter, mädchenhafter und damit auch etwas jünger.
Accessoires zum Auffallen... oder zum Abrunden
Eine meiner absoluten Lieblingskombis ist helles Kirschblüten-Rosa mit roségoldenem Schmuck, denn beide Farbnuancen harmonieren perfekt miteinander. Momentan kann ich auch nicht genug von Perlen bekommen – ebenso eine tolle Zusammenstellung mit pinken Pieces.
In meinem Kleiderschrank wirst du einiges an rosa Taschen und Schuhen finden, denn auch wenn ich kein rosa Teil trage, ergänze ich meinen Look gern mit Accessoires in meiner Lieblingsfarbe. Meistens style ich zu einem Outfit mit einem rosa Piece dann entweder eine Tasche oder Schuhe in derselben Farbfamilie, aber je nachdem, worauf du Lust hast, sind den rosa Accessoires natürlich keine Grenzen gesetzt!

50 Shades of Pink: How to style the color!
Since at least “Legally Blonde” we all have a special place for Pink in our hearts and in our wardrobes. I’m quite sure everyone of us has had or still has her pink phase. I’m definitely part of the latter group: As a child, I wanted to be a princess and couldn’t get enough of glitter and sparkling things until I took a u-turn when I was a teenager, dressing mostly in black with grungy check shirts and patches and buttons on everything. Today, I’ve grown into loving pink more than ever and that’s because I found the fashion formula which works best with the color and my personal style.
Whether you’re discovering the color right now or it has been part of your fashion repertoire for ages, and whether your goal is a playful, girly style or you’re going more for sophisticated girlboss – here are my top 5 style tips for the color pink!
Find the perfect shade.
Pink doesn’t equal pink! From vibrant magenta to rose and salmon tones to baby pink and dusty nude shades. It depends on your skin tone as well as your wardrobe which shade of pink will suit you best. Find out which one flatters your complexion most by holding different colored pink pieces to your face and observing if the color will make your skin glow. Moreover, you want to go for a pink shade that is easy to pair with the other things in your wardrobe.
The perfect pink piece.
As a second step, think about which vibe you’re going for with your outfit. Romantic and playful? Chic and sophisticated? Demure and elegant? Sporty and casual? This will make it easier to choose which pink piece to go for. Say you want to achieve a girly look, opt for a voluminous skirt or a blouse with whimsical details like bows or ruffles, and make them pastel colored. For a fierce office outfit, however, a vibrant fuchsia blazer is the ideal core piece. Keep in mind that the style and the color of a clothing piece both play a significant role – for example in a romantic, light pink colored skirt that suits a feminine style perfectly, or in a sophisticated blazer with a boxy, almost masculine fit that will look so cool in a bold pink color.
Know the rest of your color palette.
Elle Woods’ vibrant pink skirt suite has become iconic, but I think in everyday life, we’d wear pink together with other colors. Personally, I love the combination of pink with neutral shades like white, beige, cream, tan or even grey and black. You can even create color blocking looks with pink, whether it’s a pastel or a vibrant shade – for example, pair a light pink with baby blue or a bold flamingo pink with red!
Prints and patterns.
Prints effortlessly elevate every look. Similar to the cut, a pattern will set the tone for the overall style, that’s why I prefer classic prints like check or stripes in pink as they link elegance with femininity. On the contrary, pink flower prints and polka dots evoke a more girly, playful, and therefore slightly younger sense of style.
Accessories are the cherry on the cake.
One of my favorite combos of all time is a light cherry blossom pink with rose gold jewelry, I think both shades chime together so beautifully! At the moment, I can’t get enough of pearls neither, and they’ll look equally gorgeous when worn with pink.
When looking into my wardrobe, you’ll definitely find several pink bags and shoes, because even when I’m not wearing clothing in my favorite color, I like to accessorize my outfit with pink pieces. Usually I’d go for either shoes or a bag in pink to top off my outfit, but if you like, you can push the boat out with your pink accessories!
