Welche Hosen tragt ihr im Winter am liebsten? Wahrscheinlich meistens Jeans, oder? In der kalten Jahreszeit greife ich persönlich fast schon automatisch zu meiner Lieblingsjeans, schlüpfe in einen weiten, dicken Strickpulli, und in ein Paar Ankle Boots, und ich bin fertig. Aber ich mag es auch, mal Muster zu durchbrechen, daher habe ich mich neben neuen Ideen für Jeanslooks (lest den Post hier), auch nach neuen Hosenformen umgesehen und dabei den Paperbag-Stil für mich entdeckt.
Eigentlich sind die tütenförmigen Hose ja schon eine Weile im Trend (und ich vielleicht spät dran), aber ursprünglich fand ich, dass sie eine gute Alternative zu Shorts und Röcken im Sommer seien. Allerdings ergänzen sie auch einen winterlichen Kleiderschrank perfekt, vor allem in einem neutralen Farbton wie dieser braunen Farbe.
Ich trage sie am liebsten mit einem eng geschnittenen Oberteil, um ihr voluminöse Form etwas auszugleichen und das Knotendetail in Szene zu setzen. Außerdem habe ich mal ausprobiert, die Hose in ein Paar hohe Stiefel zu stecken, denn ich finde, die strecken noch etwas, besonders wenn es Stiefel mit spitzer Kappe sind. Das Beste ist, wenn ihr die Paperbag-Hosen mit Stiefeln tragt, könnt ihr einfach noch eine Thermostrumpfhose drunter ziehen und seid auch für Minusgrade bestens angezogen.

What kind of pants do you wear in the winter? Mostly denim, right? For me, I find that in the cold season and I automatically grab my favorite denim, throw on a big chunky knit and some ankle boots, and I’m ready to go. However, I like to break patterns when it comes to clothing, so apart from playing around with ideas how to elevate denim looks (read the whole post here), I discovered my love for paperbag trousers.
They’ve been around for some time now and I might be a little bit late for the bandwagon, but I primarily thought they were a nice alternative to shorts and skirts in summer. But then, they are also the perfect addition to your winter wardrobe, especially if you pick a neutral color like this brown shade.
I love to style them with a tight-fitting knit to balance out the voluminous shape of the trousers and put the spotlight on the little knotted belt as a design detail on the pants. Moreover, I decided to try tucking the pants into a pair of high-heeled boots, because I find that this style of footwear is most flattering with the cut of the pants, especially if you go for a pointed toe. And the best part is, if you wear them with boots, you can totally hide thermal tights under them and thus make the whole look cozy and easy to wear even in sub-zero temperatures.
