Das perfekte Pulli-/Strickleid habe ich so so lange gesucht! Es ist einfach eines dieser Teile, die super einfach zu tragen sind und mit denen man gleich das gesamte Outfit zusammen hat. Einfach einen Mantel oder eine Jacke drüber werfen und ein paar Ankle Boots oder Overknee-Stiefel dazu kombinieren – fertig!
Das wirklich Komplizierte dabei ist eigentlich, das perfekte Pullikleid zu finden. Als mit 1,76 m relativ groß gewachsene Frau musste ich zahlreiche Online-Shops durchforsten und bei mehreren Marken schauen, um eines zu entdecken, das nicht zu kurz ist (das heißt nicht hochrutscht, wenn man sich mal vorbeugt) und nicht zu eng sitzt – für das Weihnachtsessen sollte noch Platz sein. ;-) Außerdem habe ich dieses Mal darauf geachtet, hochwertige Materialien zu nehmen, das heißt Wolle, Kaschmir, Baumwolle oder eine Mischung, ohne Unsummen auszugeben. Das ist gar nicht so einfach, daher war ich sehr positiv überrascht, bei Uniqlo für nur 50 Euro ein Kleid aus 100 Prozent Wolle zu finden. Trotz der Naturfaser kratzt der Stoff fast nicht, ist weich und kuschelig und der große Rollkragen ist perfekt, um sich an kalten Tagen warm einzupacken.
Bei Wolle solltet ihr allerdings sorgfältig die Waschanleitung lesen, sonst passiert euch das Gleiche wie mir: Ich habe überhaupt nicht auf die Anweisungen geachtet und mein neues Kleid einfach bei 40 Grad zur normalen Wäsche gegeben. Und natürlich ist es eingelaufen! Zum Glück war es vorher leicht oversized, sodass es jetzt trotzdem noch ganz gut passt. :)

I’ve been searching for the perfect jumper/knit dress for so so long! It’s simply one of those items that are not only easy to style, but also make sure your outfit is complete in the blink of an eye as you don’t have to add much. Just throw on a coat or jacket, a pair of over the knee boots or ankle boots, and you’re good to go.
So the real struggle is mainly to find your perfect jumper dress. For me, being a tall person, I had to look through countless shops and brands to find one that wasn’t too short (aka riding up when bending forward) and not too tight (I’m looking at you, Christmas dinner!). Moreover, I paid close attention to the fabrics, looking out for high quality knits consisting of wool, cotton, cashmere, or a blend. The downside to wanting to invest in a top quality garment is its price tag, so I was surprised to find a 100 per cent woolen dress at only 50 Euro at Uniqlo! I’m quite impressed by the quality: while being made of a natural fibre, the dress doesn’t scratch as many wool garments do, it’s quite soft and snuggly, and the big polo neck is perfect to cover you on cold days.
When it comes to wool, however, be sure to read the laundry label carefully! I have to admit that I’m not used to washing natural and therefore sensitive fibres, so I sadly managed to completely forget about the special requirements and put the dress in the washing machines at 40 degrees. Guess what happened – you’re right, it shrank! Lucky enough, it’s still big enough and is now just a more fitted style, I guess. :)
