Power Suit! Klingt das nicht nach Superheldin, nach Welt retten und gefeiert werden? So fühle ich mich zumindest in einem Hosenanzug: selbstbewusst, gut angezogen, energiegeladen – ready to conquer the world!
Aber hey, es soll cool und lässig sein – Captain America sieht nicht aus, als ob er auf dem Weg ins Büro ist. Diesmal gilt: nicht mit dem Styling mehr rausholen, sondern auf dem Boden der Tatsachen bleiben und deinen Super Suit für sich sprechen lassen. So klappt’s mit dem entspannten Power-Outfit:
Nooffice
Regel Nummer 1: Vermeide alles, das dich ans Büro erinnert. Geschlossene Pumps, elegante Henkeltaschen, Totes oder andere Aktentaschen-ähnliche Begleiter, Perlenketten, Rollkragenpullover, Blusen, strenge Frisuren und so weiter sind tabu.
Undercover
Ich liebe monochrome Tops zum Anzug; ich finde sie wirken stylish ohne zu klassisch auszusehen und stellen deinen Power Suit in den Vordergrund. Bei deinem Oberteil kannst du endlos ausprobieren und mit verschiedenen Styles herumspielen, ob Spitzen-Bralette, süßes Cami-Top, Oversize-Bandshirt oder verspieltes Rüschen-Oberteil. Oder du trägst den Blazer ganz einfach geschlossen.
Stilbruch
Trage deinen Supersuit mit flachen Schuhen wie Sneakers, Mules oder Sandalen, denn so ist dein Look bequem und sammelt gleichzeitig Style-Punkte. Du möchtest höher fliegen? Entscheide dich für offene Heels. Das können als Gegenpol zum maskulin geschnittenen Zweiteiler verspielte Riemchensandaletten sein, Wedges für den Sommerlook mit Strand-Feeling oder angesagte Mules mit eckiger Zehenpartie und Steppdetails.
Kleine Statements setzen
Trau dich, deinen Anzug mit den passenden Accessoires zu versehen! Das Business-Ensemble bietet eine große unifarbene Fläche und verträgt daher etwas Bling-Bling. Trimm den Suit auf Taille mit einem breiten Gürtel mit auffallender Schnalle, egal ob in der Hose oder über dem geschlossenen Blazer. Du kannst auch eine Eyecatcher-Sonnenbrille dazu kombinieren, mit großzügigem Ketten-Layering den Blick aufs Dekolleté lenken oder einen lässigen Hut dazu tragen. Aber Vorsicht: nicht übertreiben. Ein bis zwei Accessoires reichen aus.
Sporty Spice
Der Athleisure-Trend lässt sich als Tasche super zum Anzug tragen. Gürteltasche, Rucksack oder Nylon-Bag machen den Zweiteiler Streetstyle-tauglich. Ebenso gut klappt es mit anderen Taschen-Trends wie die gesteppten Bags à la Bottega – es gilt: alles andere als klassisch. Jetzt im Frühling und später im Sommer kannst du auch wunderbar eine große Korbtasche zu deinem Power-Anzug kombinieren.

Power suits! Doesn't that sound like you’re a superheroine, fighting the bad guys and being hailed as the one saving the world? At least that's how I feel in a suit: confident, well dressed, full of energy – ready to conquer the world!
The tailoring styles I love look cool and casual – Captain America doesn't seem like he's on his way to the office. So this time it’s less about dressing things up to make them more chic, but rather all about staying down to earth letting the super suit speak for itself. This is how to achieve a relaxed yet empowering suit outfit:
No office
Rule number 1: Avoid anything that even remotely makes you think of an office. Closed-toe pumps, elegant top handle bags, tote bags or other briefcase-like purses, pearl necklaces, turtlenecks, blouses, strict hairstyles and so on are strictly taboo!
Undercover
I love pairing monochrome tops with a suit; I think they look stylish without being too classic and traditional, plus they’ll put your power suit in the spotlight. However when it comes to tops to go with your two-piece, you have endless possibilities to play around and test different styles, for example lace bralette, cute cami tops, oversized band shirts or playful ruffle tops – they’re perfect for transforming your suit every time you wear it! And of course you can simply wear the blazer with the buttons closed.
Style break
Combine your super suit with flat shoes such as sneakers, mules or sandals to make your look comfortable while fashionable and on point. Do you fancy a little height boost? Opt for open-toe heels! They’ll act as an interesting contrast to the masculinity of your suit. Choose a pair of playful strappy sandals to add a feminine notes, a pair of wedges for a summer look that makes you want to head to the beach, or a pair of trendy quilted mules with a square toe.
Make a little statement
Dare to accessorize your suit! As it’s a large plain-colored area, don’t hesitate to add a bit of bling-bling. Cinch yourself in at the waist with a belt that you can wear on the pants or over a closed blazer if you’re going for a bolder look. And you know that I love a statement buckle! Moreover, a pair of sunglasses can be a real talking piece in your outfit, you can add some layered necklaces, or add a hat as the cherry on the cake. Heads up: don’t overdo it! One to two accessories are all it takes.
Sporty Spice
Wondering which bag will go with your super suit? It’s the perfect opportunity to take out all the bag trends! I’m thinking about athleisure and combining your suit with a belt bag, a backpack, or a nylon bag to create a laid-back street style. Slouchy or quilted purses will work just as nicely! Simply follow one rule: anything but the classics! And remember how I said no tote bags? Well, now that we’re in spring and summer is on its way, a large basket bag does make for a wonderful sidekick for your power suit.
